First off, our Ninja Creami Deluxe has a design flaw that seams to be fairly frequent. It does not power on from standby unless you unplug and re-plug it first.Great frozen products can be made, but there is certainly a learning curve - especially if you need to make sugar-free ice cream and sorbets. Also, do your home-work on Creami quirks before you process your first pint (e.g. level and smooth freezing) - otherwise you are likely to damage your machine.

My Ninja CREAMi lasted one day before failing. After a single mixing, the top cover of the bowl broke, preventing me from ever using it again.I called their support line, and they confirmed the failure and agreed to send out a replacement immediately.Since I am down to the last day before my Amazon return window closes and I have not received the replacement part yet, I reluctantly decided to return it. The other motivator is all the other poorly engineered issues with the CREAMi; especially health and safety concerns related to cleaning the unit.BTW, the fix mixing worked out really well! The results were fantastic so that is why I am reluctantly returning it. :(Pros:1) Ninja support is amazing! There are few companies that offer support as good as Ninja... maybe even better than Amazon.2) Putting aside engineering flaws and serious cleaning concerns, the end results are amazing!Cons:1) Most users say that due to its inherent design flaws, this unit is all but guaranteed to break on you within a year. Mine broke on day 1.2) The inability to properly clean this unit could have serious health consequences. It is astonishing that Ninja has overlooked these serious concerns!I will keep an eye out for an upgraded model. I hope you're listening, Ninja. I love all your other products!
