It is pricey, but the taste of the beverage is worth it if you love coffee and espresso.Appearance and Build----------------------------The machine has a gorgeous, professional look.Made with high-quality stainless steel and black, giving it an elegant appearance.The body is heavy, adding to its professional feel.Space Considerations----------------------------It takes up significant counter space, so measure before purchasing.The water tank is at the front of the machine, making it easy to pour without moving the machine (unlike some other models). It also indicates when the water level is low.The large water reservoir with a capacity of 64 ounces (1800ML) is a significant advantage, as it reduces the frequency of refills. This is particularly useful for heavy coffee drinkers or when entertaining guests. I am very impressed with this advanced smart De'Longhi Magnifica Plus Fully Automatic coffee machine. If you're looking for a coffee machine that's quick, easy to use, and requires minimum user intervention, and if you're looking for a coffee machine for an office or a family, then I'd 100% recommend this coffee machine.It's got a lot of advanced features and functionalities. Here's a summary of my experience with it below. I've also added points of improvement near the end.Setting It Up:No assembly was needed. It came out of the box pretty much ready to start.Design:The machine is designed to be compact and accessible. It's slim and flat, and is designed to be accessed from the front and top. From the front I can access the water tank and pull it out towards me, and from the top I can add the coffee beans or powder (two separate openings).The frother container is also easily removable so that it can be put in the fridge when it's not in use.Coffee Making:The machine is nicely designed to make numerous types of coffees that are customizable to the taste of the user. As can be seen in the video, I was able to tell the machine I wanted a cappuccino with double espresso, with high intensity, and more milk for a large cup. I can even save this customization for my own user profile for the future. Once I hit brew, it automatically grinds, brews the coffee, and adds the milk and the users specific preferences without any human intervention.The coffee tastes great, though for a cappuccino I noticed that the frother gently pours the milk, which causes the coffee to stay at the bottom. A good solution is to raise the frother tube to a higher level.Smart System:This advanced machine has a touch screen with beautiful graphics. It automatically detects when water, milk, and coffee ground run out.I love that it has the ability to create user profiles with user icons to save the user's favourite and customized drink preferences.I also love that the machine has so many settings that include self cleaning, and even self draining in case the machine won't be used for a while.Points of Improvements:– I think the frother can be improved to mix the coffee and milk better.– The drip tray is a bit splashy especially when it's doing self cleaning.– Almost everything in this machine (besides the grinder and some other metal parts) inside and outside is made out of plastics. I wish that my coffee didn't go through all that plastic material. But that's just me.As I said above, I'd recommend this De'Longhi coffee machine!

So I am not a barista but I love good coffee and I'm tired of those coffee makers that just makes so so coffee. Wonderful coffee machine

A month after purchase, very happy with the ease of use of this coffee machine and the multiple coffee selections. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that I am disappointed with the amount of thin plastic that could have been better reinforced with metal on parts that are taken in and out daily to clean. Always try to be very careful that nothing inadvertently breaks. For something that cost over $1000, it could’ve been better constructed. Everything else with the machine gets five stars and I still feel it was a very worthwhile purchase.
