This case has honestly saved my Nexus from breaking multiple times. It can withstand pretty high falls and tumbles and still leaves my phone working perfectly. The kickstand is also very convenient for watching videos, handsfree.One downside, which led me to rating it 4 stars, is that dust gets behind/on the side of the phone and you have to remove the case every now and then to clean it. Also the IMEI number on the back gets worn off because of the case.I'd suggest buying a screen protector for ultimate phone care.

Great Case Especially for the Price

I just needed a case that was slim, unobtrusive, and yet provided some semblance of protection. This case easily fits the bill. The case comes in two parts; a soft, rubber inner sleeve and a outer, hard-plastic shell. The two work together well. The case is does not add a whole lot of bulk or weight to the phone, which is something I also sought.When on, all the ports of the Nexus 5 (camera, two speakers, USB, headphone jack, and microphone) are perfectly aligned with the case. The buttons (volume, on/off) work easily within the case as well.The case covers a small margin around the face of the phone, but is not obtrusive at all. None of the swiping activities are hindered by the presence of the case. The backside has a kickstand that locks into place when it is closed and also locks into place when it is open. It is very solid.Overall, I paid about 5 bucks (includes shipping) for this case and I would've paid twice that easily.

Bulky, but nice product for the price

With the soft and hard pieces both on, it adds significant bulk to the phone, but it appears it will also add decent protection to my Nexus 5. The kickstand seems flimsy, but I probably won't use it much anyway. No instructions were included, so it took me a couple of minutes to figure out you have to separate the gummy piece from the hard piece, then put the gummy case around the phone, then put the hard piece over the gummy piece. If I happen to drop my pone and it survives intact with this case, I'll be back to add a star. :-)Update: Wireless charging didn't work with this case on and the hard case is much more slippery than the phone itself, so reduced to 3 stars. Still a good product for the price.

Read Kannon Yamada's review of best cases, he picked this one and I agree with him. Has hard shell on outside, rubber shell on the inside and bumpers at corners. The shell is stiff enough to give some protection from from accidents such as sitting on it or leaving heavy weights on it. (I wouldn't push it though/don't try that at home). Rubber as strong as any other case. I did the unthinkable: slipped on ice and dropped/threw it onto a sidewalk, no damage at all. (Note: put rubber shell on first, then fit into hard shell)
